If you read my last post then you know that I’ve been really challenged to do something. To not sit around and be comfortable but to be uncomfortable and serve the Lord, no matter what that means.

Well…

Since that last post a lot has happened.

Long story short, my family and I are moving to Peru.

You may be thinking, “What?!” “Y’all are crazy!!” “Why in the world would you do that?!”

If you had told me we would be moving to Peru last year I would have said the exact same thing. But I feel like the journey I have been on since last year has prepared me for this.

Last year & this year I have gone through so many wonderful and not so wonderful things. From major changes is my circle of friends to incredible missions trips; it’s all been leading up to this and without those experiences, I don’t think I would be able to do this. But because of where I’ve grown from in my relationship with Christ I can do this.

I can do this because He is my strength.

He is the one that has my heart.

He is the one I put my trust in.

He is the only one with whom I truly will always belong to.

He is the one who knows me better than anyone and wants the best for me.

He has given me everything I’ve ever wanted with just saying “Go.”

I get to travel. I get to learn Spanish and speak it fluently. I get to hang out with my family more. I get to be in the mission field. I get to run a home for kids. I get to take care of them. I get to be their best friend and sister.

I get to teach them about Jesus.

I am so excited to go to Peru and I can’t wait to see what else God has planned for my life.
