I still think about it.
I still hate myself for it.
I still think i need to change because of it.
I still look at new diet fads, or “teatoxes”.
I still think i need to stop eating, or skip a couple meals.
I still think i need to change because of it.
Because of what exactly?
Because of this lie that the devil constantly throws at me that says I need to be skinnier & better looking in order for me to have any worth in this world.
We are bombarded by it every day.
By magazine articles, by models, by media, by our friends, by people we look up to.
Every way the devil could possibly get the idea that we’re not good enough into our heads, he does.
and it works doesn’t it?
Thats why we all think we should give money to these diet companies, or why so many people suffer from anorexia or bulimia, or why we, God’s masterpieces, have this crazy idea that we should change ourselves because we ‘weren’t made right.’
I am here to remind you, & myself, that we are loved, we are special, we are valued, we are beautiful,
we are wonderfully created
we
are
enough.
YOU ARE LOVED
Romans 8:37-39 ~~ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Genesis 1:27 ~~ SO God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
YOU ARE ENOUGH
1 Peter 2:9 ~~ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Enough of starving ourselves, enough of hating our bodies, enough of changing God’s beautiful creation.
